One Liverpool player is clearly full of self-confidence ahead of the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League commencing tonight.
Northern Ireland are among the teams in action as the fourth edition of the tournament gets underway on Thursday, with Michael O’Neill’s side hosting Luxembourg in their League C opener.
The national team’s official Instagram channel posted a video in which a variety of players in the squad gave their predictions as to who’d score the Ulstermen’s first goal of the campaign. When Conor Bradley approached the camera for his answer, he raised his hand and replied ‘Me!’.
Interestingly, a few of his teammates also backed the Liverpool defender to score first, with the 21-year-old having netted three times across his last three caps for his country.
We love to see such self-confidence from the right-back, who’ll hopefully enjoy a fruitful few days with Northern Ireland as he strives for further first-team recognition at Anfield over the course of the season.
