Anthony Gordon to Liverpool is a rumour that refuses to go away this summer.
The winger has been linked with a move to Anfield for a long time now, and according to Fabrizio Romano, this interest hasn’t subsided.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Romano has claimed that Liverpool retain a strong interest in Gordon, and that they are talking internally about potentially making a move for the attacker.

Liverpool are still discussing Anthony Gordon move
Romano shared what he knows about the forward and Liverpool’s interest in the Newcastle star.
“What I wanted to tell you tonight is that the interest of Liverpool in Anthony Gordon remains a strong interest, remains a concrete interest. It’s a player they really rate internally, a player they really like and so the name of Anthony Gordon remains high on Liverpool’s list,” Romano said.
“Anthony Gordon remains a player they really rate and really like internally. Internally they are discussing the situation of Anthony Gordon because they believe he could be a fantastic player for the future of Liverpool.
Again, the problem could be in valuation with Newcastle, because he is an important player for Newcastle, and they don’t have the intention to make a normal price for Anthony Gordon.
“It has to be a big price for him in order to give a potential greenlight. At the moment, Newcastle really want to keep the player.”
Gordon to Liverpool links won’t go away
Anthony Gordon to Liverpool may not happen this summer, but make no mistake about it, this is a transfer story that isn’t going away anytime soon.
Liverpool seemingly rate Gordon at a deep level, and given that Gordon is said to be very keen on a move, it wouldn’t be a shock if these links persisted for years to come.
This would be a very expensive move, but if Gordon’s price were to drop, Liverpool would likely be ready to pounce.
