Mohamed Salah has been included in Liverpool’s 23-man squad for Thursday’s Europa League last-16 tie against Sparta Prague.
The Egyptian has only played for the Reds once since New Year’s Day, initially due to linking up with Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations finals before later suffering a hamstring injury against Ghana on January 18. Salah did make a goal-scoring return against Brentford on February 17 but has since missed the Reds’ last four games due to a recurrence of that earlier hamstring complaint.

However, Salah made his return to team training earlier this week and was part of the Reds’ squad that headed for the Czech Republic on Wednesday afternoon.
