Liverpool are without Thiago Alcantara and Dominic Szoboszlai this week through injury, while Ibrahima Konate is suspended and Conor Bradley is on medical leave.
The quartet is joined on the wing by Kostas Tsimikas, Mohamed Salah, Stefan Baicetic and Joel Matip. According to Liverpool’s website, Dunnes is a “versatile player” who can play in both attack and midfield.
He is the son of Neil Dunnes, who enjoyed an impressive career as a midfielder in the Football League. Aged 41, he has also played for Guyana in the national team. Neil Jones recently published a scouting report on Dunnes, comparing his style of play to Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
It’s always good to see top performances from first team training and Danns is sure to make a name for himself at academy level.If all goes well, you should be able to knock off some minutes between now and the end of the season. He would then be eligible to take part in pre-season and be loaned out to the EFL for at least the next term.
