‘We missed him against Arsenal’ ‘I hope he gets to the Carabao Cup final’ Liverpool fans react to positive injury update

Liverpool midfielder Dominik Soboslay’s latest injury is not as serious as first thought, according to journalist Bens Bocsak.

The Hungary international missed last weekend’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal with a recurrence of a knee problem. There were reports that Soboslay could be out for a month, but Bocsak said the player would not be out that long. X fans were relieved to hear this news. Can Soboslay reach the Carabao Cup final? With Chelsea less than three weeks away, he looks set to play unless his fitness issues continue. However, you would think that Szoboslai is unlikely to feature for Saturday’s game against Burnley and the following games against Brentford and Luton Town.

Which other Liverpool players are currently injured? Kostas Tsmickas is said to be close to a return after rupturing his sternum against Arsenal at Anfield in December. Mo Salah is still a long way from returning after picking up an injury during the Africa Cup of Nations against Egypt. Joel Matip will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, while Stefan Vaisetic (hamstring) has no return date.
