Liverpool have been linked with Germany international and Bayern Munich star Leroy Sane for some time and the latest reports are intriguing. According to Spanish sporting sources (via SW ), Kaiser has ruled out a move to Barcelona after recently switching agencies.
The Catalan club claim Liverpool have signed Sane in recent months, but the tide could turn in Bayern’s favor with the appointment of new agent Christian Schmidt. Schmid is also Musiala’s agent and remains in very close contact with the German champions as they look to sign Sane to a new contract. The 28-year-old, who won two Premier League titles with Manchester City, has scored nine goals and provided 12 assists in all competitions so far under manager Thomas Tuchel. He earns £386,000 a week at Allianz (Independent) and his current contract expires next year.
Liverpool are looking for a long-term replacement for superstar Mohamed Salah, and Sane’s name has been on the radar for some time.
