Despite Jurgen Klopp’s success, the debate surrounding Liverpool’s players continues despite Alexis McAllister settling one remaining question. There is a general rule in any discussion about Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp’s goal is probably correct.
The German has done enough over the past eight-and-a-half years to earn the full trust of Liverpool fans. He brought the league title back to Anfield, something many other managers had failed to do before him, and his side would have won the series had it not been for giants Manchester City.
Klopp is undoubtedly one of the best managers in world football. Some of the questions asked about his team, which may not be the best, are somewhat surprising. Despite its success, experts always speculate that it may have missed something. The biggest position in recent years has certainly been Trent Alexander-Arnold’s best, but it’s not the only one.
After all, when Saudi Arabia came calling last summer, many said Liverpool were foolish not to sell Mohamed Salah. He is the Premier League’s top scorer so far this season and has been involved in 27 goals in 27 games in all competitions.
This seems to be an argument that exodus Klopp’s genius. Why not take into account all he has achieved at Anfield? I happened to have doubts about one of his decisions. This summer’s midfield overhaul has clearly been a success. A slow and damaged engine room has been replaced with far more dynamic players, but after four signings there are still big question marks.
It seemed clear to me that Liverpool weren’t very good at number six. Fabinho is gone, replaced by a more suitable striker, a 30-year-old playing in the bottom half of the Bundesliga. The first scene of Alexis McAllister and Wataru Endo did not calm my nerves.
Fabinho’s brilliant performances seemed like a distant memory and I feared what this would lead to for the rest of the season.Thankfully, Endo started to change my mind once it found its place. But he left for the Asia Cup and McAllister will have to return. Plus, he’s back from injury.
I thought this might be the moment when Klopp’s plan completely collapsed. I was convinced that Mc Allister’s best position would be an attacking midfielder and it seems he was brought to the club to fill it.I accidentally made a mistake. Very wrong.
