Liverpool earned £11 million more from the Premier League last season than the previous year.
Although Liverpool are currently top of the table this season, the 2022/23 season was a disappointing one for Jurgen Klopp and his side as they finished fifth and failed to play a single Champions League game against the title holders.
This came in the 2021/22 season when Liverpool achieved an unprecedented quadruple in results, finishing second in the league, winning both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup and finishing as runners-up in the Champions League.
In the same 2021/22 season, Liverpool collected £151.9m from 29 live matches, up from 28 in 2022/23. But the improved broadcast deals have also boosted the finances of Premier League clubs.
Champions Manchester City earned £176.2m. Arsenal came second with £172.2m. Third-placed Manchester United earned £168.3m and fourth-placed Newcastle United earned £164.3m, £37.6m more than when they finished on 11th place last season.
