Liverpool legend Graeme Souness believes there are four jobs that could bring Jurgen Klopp back in charge after leaving Anfield. Klopp has announced that he will leave Liverpool at the end of this season. He said he was “feeling down” and planned to take a year off from football.”What I know for sure is that I cannot 100% take over the management of an English club other than Liverpool,” Klopp told club media. “It’s impossible”. “I have a lot of love for this club and respect for the people at the club.”He continued: “I couldn’t. I couldn’t think about it for a moment.
This is part of my life, we are part of a family and I feel at home. There is no way to do that. But the rest is: Will I ever be able to work again? Klopp added: “Of course I know myself, but I can’t sit there. Maybe I’ll find something else. But I won’t manage a club or a country for at least another year. “It’s impossible, I can’t and I don’t want to.”Souness, who played for and managed Liverpool, believes Klopp will only consider returning to coach Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona or the national team.
He said this in his Daily Mail column: “Five years later, he’s still getting offers.”Do you want it back?” I remember riding in a taxi with the great Johnny Giles when I was working on Irish TV. He said, “Do you want to go back (to management)?” I told him I wasn’t sure.”He said, ‘I’ll tell you what’s going to happen.’ ‘If you’re away from home for a year, you’ll wonder why you did it!’ He was right.
If you move away from it, it will change you as a person and your relationships with loved ones.”I will continue with Jurgen. If he decides to come back, I think there will be only three clubs for him depending on the financial situation: Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona. Then there’s international soccer, which can be attractive because of low demand.”Liverpool are putting a big responsibility on the next person to take over. “But it must have been a very difficult decision for him because he was leaving his dream job.”
