Liverpool have decided to bring Fabio Carvalho back to the club after his loan spell at RB Leipzig. The 21-year-old struggled for regular game time at the German club and decided to terminate his loan deal with Bundesliga club Liverpool. Carvalho is expected to go out on loan again.The versatile forward has no future at Liverpool but needs to play regularly if he is to continue to develop.
A loan would be ideal for him.According to Sky Sports, Leicester City are hoping to sign him this month. The Foxes could use more depth in attack and Carvalho would be a great addition. He adds technical ability, agility and focus to the attack. The 21-year-old was regarded as one of the country’s best young talents during his time at Fulham. He wants to get back to that level.
A move to the Championship could restore his skills and confidence.Carvalho is versatile enough to play both the number 10 role and as a winger. He could be an asset to the Foxes and could make an immediate impact for them.They will be targeting promotion to the Premier League at the end of the season and Carvalho could become a key player for them in the second half of the season. As for the player, if he can impress in the Championship he could be rewarded with a permanent move away from Liverpool at the end of the season.
