Acaden Lewis, a highly touted four-star guard from Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., has been making waves in the college basketball recruiting world. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound fleet-footed player recently visited Duke University as part of the Blue Devils’ Countdown to Craziness festivities in Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Lewis, who is currently ranked No. 36 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, is down to his final three choices: Duke, Kentucky, and UConn. During his official visit, Lewis took part in a photoshoot with the Duke basketball team and shared pictures on his Instagram account, showcasing his time on Coach K Court.
One notable photo features Lewis posing with Duke head coach Jon Scheyer, each holding a ball on the baseline with the program’s five national championship banners in the background. Lewis also shared a photo with his parents, all clad in Duke gear.
Interestingly, Lewis had initially planned to visit UNC, Duke’s archrival, but canceled those plans last week, effectively eliminating the Tar Heels from contention. Instead, he opted to revisit the Blue Devils, indicating a strong interest in the program.
With his visit, Lewis got a closer look at the Duke program and its facilities. His potential recruitment would be a significant boost to the Blue Devils’ lineup, and fans are eagerly awaiting his decision.
