Top-ranked power forward Christian Collins is taking his time to decide on a college destination, and Duke basketball is heavily involved in his recruitment process. The 6-foot-8, 200-pound forward from St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California, is considered one of the most promising prospects in the 2026 class, ranking No. 4 overall and No. 1 among power forwards.
Collins currently has offers from several top programs, including Duke, Kentucky, Arkansas, Southern Cal, Oregon, and Louisville. However, he hasn’t begun taking official visits and plans to wait until late to commit, potentially as late as next spring.
The Duke basketball staff visited Collins in late April, culminating in an offer from Coach Jon Scheyer. Collins is one of eight undecided rising high school seniors on Duke’s 2026 wishlist. Notably, he plays alongside fellow Duke target Brandon McCoy Jr., a five-star guard who visited the program in early November.
With Collins’ decision potentially impacting the future of Duke basketball, fans and analysts alike are eagerly awaiting his next move.
