HOUSTON – It’s been a rough year for Tank Dell, but regardless, he remains in good spirits.
In a TikTok post, the wide receiver for the Houston Texans shared a short video with his voiceover from a previous conversation, where he starts off saying “Just let it go.” The caption reads, “When you want something so bad you got a different type of attachment to it…”
The audio in the post continues with Dell saying, “It is what it is, you let it go, put it in God’s hands and he’ll carry it. God is great.”
Dell’s optimistic words come after facing yet another adversity Sunday when the 25-year-old dislocated his knee during a 30-yard touchdown catch Saturday, followed by the Texans’ loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Last year, Dell’s rookie season ended prematurely with a broken fibula that required surgery to repair the damage. Months later, he was shot in the leg during a mass shooting in Florida while he attended a party as an innocent bystander.
After his latest injury, more testing and second opinions are also being examined before they can medically determine Dell’s next steps. Still, Dell remains in high spirits and his latest TikTok is a testament to that.
