Liverpool will be most likely be without Diogo Jota for the Champions League clash in Germany after the Portugal forward missed the open training session at the AXA Training Ground ahead of the game. The Reds will fly to Germany immediately after for the tie, which takes place on Wednesday night.
Jota was substituted after a collision with Chelsea defender Tosin on Sunday afternoon during the 2-1 win over the Londoners, with replacement Darwin Nunez impressing and now expected to feature in Leipzig.
Another forward option, Federico Chiesa, remains missing and has now sat out the wins over Bologna and Crystal Palace before the international break, as well as the victory over Chelsea. There was no sign of him in training.
Conor Bradley is sidelined with an injury problem of his own and is expected to miss a few weeks of action, while Harvey Elliott is still working his way back to full fitness following a broken foot sustained in September.
Alisson Becker is a longer-term absentee with a hamstring problem.
Arne Slot had expressed concerns about Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alexis Mac Allister after the win over Chelsea but both trained today.
Liverpool head coach Slot will provide a full update on his squad and injuries when he takes his Champions League press conference at 6.30pm UK time on Tuesday evening.
