It has been a good start for life under Arne Slot for Liverpool. The Reds sit top of the Premier League after the first six games of the season, with five wins and one loss giving them 15 points, one more than Manchester City and Arsenal in second and third.
The Reds took advantage of Man City dropping points in the early kick-off against Newcastle by recording a 2-1 victory over Wolves in the later kick-off on Saturday. Eyes now turn to the Champions League with Slot’s men hosting Serie A Bologna at Anfield on Tuesday night (8pm kick-off).
Liverpool return to Premier League action on Saturday as they take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. A win would see the Reds sit at the top of the Premier League for the second international break of the campaign.
It’s after that break when there is an intense fixture list for Liverpool. The Carabao Cup round of 16 tie against Brighton and Hove Albion has now been confirmed for Wednesday, 30 October, with kick-off at 7:30pm.
That game falls in between the Premier League trip to Arsenal on Sunday, October 27 and the home Premier League clash against Brighton on Saturday, November 2. Those fixtures are in the middle of what could be a crucial period of the season with what could be 10 crucial fixtures.
The run starts on Sunday, 20th October, against Chelsea at home (4.30pm kick-off). The run also includes games against Real Madrid and Manchester City; the full run of 12 games can be seen in full below:
