You don’t often see a player who’s played for both Everton and Liverpool.
Steve McMahon and Peter Beardsley are two of the best examples but they’re very few and far between nowadays.
However, a player who left Everton in the summer has now admitted he’d be open to joining Liverpool in the future.
Arnaut Danjuma says he’d be open to Liverpool move
Arnaut Danjuma spent last season on loan at Everton but failed to make an impact, scoring one goal in 21 outings.
Danjuma has now joined La Liga outfit Girona for the season and has so far netted twice in eight appearances.
Speaking to ESPN NL’s De Voetbalkantine, via FC Update, Danjuma admitted that it’d be hard to turn down a move to Liverpool if the opportunity arose.
“As a player you have to be ambitious and if a big club comes, you should always consider it,” the 27-year-old explained.
“I don’t think there will be many people sitting at the table there who will say no to Liverpool.”
