La Familia, the University of Kentucky’s basketball alumni team, is gearing up for their second year in The Basketball Tournament (TBT). The team features a star-studded lineup including Willie Cauley-Stein, Aaron Harrison, Andrew Harrison, Doron Lamb, and DeAndre Liggins, among others. La Familia will host the Lexington Regional at the newly renovated Historic Memorial Coliseum from July 18-22. The team will play Stroh’s Squad on July 18 at 9 p.m. ET on FS1, followed by potential matchups against War Ready and X-Rayted. The tournament will utilize the Elam Ending format, with a $1 million winner-take-all prize. La Familia is organized by former Wildcat Twany Beckham and coached by Kentucky alum Sean Woods. The team made history in their inaugural year, uniting fans and former Wildcats under one banner and setting a TBT attendance record in a quarterfinal matchup vs. The Ville in Louisville. With their talented roster and strong leadership, La Familia is poised to make a deep run in the tournament.
