Liverpool are back in action on Sunday after the November international break with a trip to St Mary’s to meet Southampton in the Premier League. Arne Slot’s side sit top of the table after an impressive opening three months of the season and face the league’s bottom club.
And the Dutchman will answer questions from journalists ahead of the game on Friday morning when he takes his usual pre-match press conference at the AXA Training Centre.
On the agenda will be a number of fitness concerns. Diogo Jota has been sidelined since picking up an upper body injury during the home win over Chelsea in October, Alisson Becker suffered a hamstring problem against Crystal Palace earlier in the same month and Harvey Elliott has been out since September with a foot problem.
Slot will give the latest on all three as they near returns to action for Liverpool. The former Feyenoord coach will also likely be asked about the futures of Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk, whose contracts expire next summer and no new deals agreed as of yet.
