Liverpool are being linked with a new forward and centre-back ahead of the January transfer window. The Reds made two signings during the summer with Federico Chiesa and Giorgi Mamardashvili, with the latter spending the season on loan at Valencia.
Despite only two players being signed in the summer, Liverpool were linked with adding even more players to their squad. That is now the case for January, where rumours are already beginning to swirl about the players that could be signed by the Reds in the New Year.
On the pitch, Liverpool are currently top of the Premier League after their win over Chelsea at the weekend. The Reds will now prepare to face RB Leipzig in the Champions League on Wednesday evening in Germany.
The ECHO takes a look at some of the latest Liverpool transfer news and gossip that have generated headlines over the last 24 hours.
Liverpool are once again being linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund star Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. According to German news outlet Sport Bild, the Reds are prepared to submit an offer to sign the former Manchester City starlet.
The report claims that Dortmund have set an asking price worth €100 million (£83 million) for Bynoe-Gittens should a bid be made either in the January transfer window or next summer.
It has not been suggested, though, how much Liverpool would be prepared to spend to try and bring the talented 20-year-old to Anfield in 2025, but may have to face competition from Tottenham Hotspur for his signature.
Elsewhere, Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Sevilla defender Loic Bade once again. The Reds have previously been credited as potential suitors for the centre-back, and rumours are swirling once again.
According to Spanish news outlet AS, Liverpool recently sent scouts to watch Bade in action for Sevilla in a 5-1 defeat to Barcelona at the weekend. Bade played the full 90 minutes and impressed despite his team conceding five goals.
It has been reported that Sevilla would be willing to allow Bade to leave the club even if an offer is made below the release clause in his contract. Reports have suggested the France Under-21 international has a €60 million (£50 million) release clause, but it has not been stated what specific fee the La Liga club would be prepared to do business over Bade’s future.
