Former Liverpool star Jordon Ibe is currently a free agent after being released by National League outfit Ebbsfleet Town, despite playing Premier League football regularly as a teenager.
The winger joined Liverpool in December 2011, aged 16, having impressed while breaking into the Wycombe Wanderers first team. After season-long loan spells with Birmingham City and Derby County, Ibe returned with a bang and featured regularly under Brendan Rodgers.
Ibe made 58 appearances for Liverpool, scoring four goals and registering seven assists, before ruling that he would search for more game time elsewhere. In the summer of 2016 he joined Bournemouth for a fee of £15million.
After avoiding relegation in their debut Premier League campaign, the Cherries were keen to splash the cash and solidify their top-flight sentence. But they did not reap the benefits of forking out a then-club-record fee for Ibe.
He failed to find the back of the net in his first season with the club but managed two goals and eight assists in his second campaign at the club.
His returns regressed to three goals and one assist in year three as Ibe gradually fell out of favour under Eddie Howe before being released upon the expiry of his contract in 2020.
Ibe joined Derby but made just one appearance for the Championship outfit, with his struggles with depression preventing him from making the impact he was hoping to at Pride Park. He was released at the end of his contract.
The ex-Reds star went in search of a chance to make a fresh start and six months later he put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year contract with Turkish side Adanaspor.
However, he did not make a single appearance for the club and was released just a few months later.
