Liverpool are third in the Premier League table after 31 games, with leaders Manchester City two points clear at the top of the table having played a game more, while they are behind Arsenal due to an inferior goal difference, and they know they have to keep winning if they want to win the title.
The Reds have lost just two league games all season and will hope to keep firing on all cylinders in the league despite being at risk of elimination in the Europa League following the 3-0 loss to Atalanta in the first-leg of their quarter-final tie at Anfield on Thursday.
Liverpool return to action tomorrow when they host Crystal Palace, and while they are expected to pick up all three points, Rio Ferdinand believes they will drop points when they take on Fulham, Everton and Aston Villa, predicting draws for them against the trio when making his end-of-the-season prediction.
Liverpool will be playing the trio away from home and while the fixtures will prove tricky, manager Jurgen Klopp will back his men to leave with all three points after each trip.
However, winning those games will not come easy as every club side are trying to get the better of them and dent their title ambitions.
Teams will believe they can win against Liverpool after Atalanta exposed some of their flaws on Thursday, and Klopp and his men will need to be on top of their game in the remaining fixtures to have a chance of sustaining their momentum.
The Anfield club last won the title in 2020 and will hope to land their second Premier League title since the new format started in 1992.
They have come close to winning the title several times under Klopp, missing out on it by a point in 2018-19 and 2021-22 to both Man City, and they cannot afford to miss another opportunity.
