Liverpool have arguably the best club in the Premier League over the past few years when it comes to producing top talents.
For instance, the 2020/21 campaign was difficult for the Reds amid an injury crisis at the back, but the likes of Rhys Williams and Nat Phillips shone when called upon.
And this season, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has promoted several top talents who look like they could be the foundation to the Reds squad of the future.
Jayden Danns, Lewis Koumas, Bobby Clark, Conor Bradley, James McConnell, Harvey Elliott and Jarell Quansah are just a few of the Liverpool players who have stepped up this season.
In this article, we’ll look specifically at Bradley, who has become a regular starter for Liverpool, on top of having already cemented his place in the Northern Ireland XI.
What has been said about Liverpool prodigy Conor Bradley?
Bradley has been superb for the Reds, particularly since Trent Alexander-Arnold – another Anfield academy success story – picked up an injury earlier in the year.
The 20-year-old went into the 2023/24 campaign having already made five competitive appearances for Liverpool. Now, he has 23 senior outings to his name.
This week, Bradley ticked off another milestone, registering his first goal for Northern Ireland in the 1-0 friendly win over Scotland.
The Liverpool gem capitalised on a Nathan Patterson error to fire a superb effort – via the help of a deflection – into the top corner of their Euro 2024-bound opponents’ net.
BBC Sport loved what they saw from the Anfield ace, writing: “Northern Ireland, and Liverpool, have a gem on their hands in this young man – endless energy, versatile and superb quality on the ball.
Meanwhile, the Belfast Telegraph deemed him the ‘hero of Hampden’, and BBC Scotland pundit Neil McCann said: “Conor Bradley is fast becoming a really important player for this Northern Ireland side.”
Alongside Harvey Elliott, Liverpool have another amazing 20-year-old in their ranks in Conor Bradley. Both players truly look like stars in the making and it’ll be exciting to see what the future holds.
