On Tuesday, the National Football League released the list of potential invitees to the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, and it’s a long list. A total of 321 prospects were invited to this year’s event, held in Indianapolis from February 26 to March 4. The full prospect list, available here, is comprised of only players eligible for the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Patriots, currently ranked third, select approximately 319 men to participate in the league’s annual job interviews. USC quarterback Caleb Williams, North Carolina quarterback Drake Maye and LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels could be of particular interest to the New Englanders.
Player training is scheduled to take place in February. March 28 – March 2 Wednesday, defensive linemen and linebackers, Thursday defensive backs and tight ends, wide receivers and final touches on Friday events. There are also offensive linemen and kickers on Saturdays, but the attendance is generally lower. The Patriots have already met with a number of prospects at the Senior Bowl and Temple Bowl and will look to add a few more names to that list at the combine. They will then visit 30 different prospects over a two-month period to prepare them for the 2024 NFL Draft, which begins on April 25.
