It’s officially late in the season, but unfortunately it doesn’t get any easier as the Vancouver Canucks visit TD Garden on Thursday night. Vancouver scored an NHL-high 73 points on the season. The Canucks won 3-2 against the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday. Boston, second in the league behind Vancouver, lost 4-1 to the Calgary Flames that night.
Parker Wotherspoon is set to replace Kevin Shattenkirk in Boston’s third pairing, while the Black and Gold have center Jesper Boqvist and wings Jakub Lauko (Jakub Lauko) and Oscar Steen.
Puck drop from TD Garden is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET, and you can watch it on NESN after an hour of pregame coverage.
