The Patriots are giving you an inside look at their scouting operations for the 2024 NFL Draft.
This week has been a very informative one for New England Patriots fans, who have been able to get a closer look at the inner workings of the franchise than ever before. I wonder what life would be like without Bill Belichick.
Elliott Wolfe’s title hasn’t changed from director of scouting, but he was the subject of a report Wednesday that said he “seems to be in charge” of the Patriots’ personnel department. That was evident to anyone paying attention as several of his former teammates were hired to help fill out the front office and coaching staff.
Still, it was enough for many of us to question how his rise in tenure affected other possessions during Belichick’s tenure. It’s not like this. At least not when it comes to positions. The Patriots revealed some interesting information in a YouTube video posted on their Senior Bowl website.
This included the positions of nine members involved in the organization.Patriots director of player personnel Matt Groh retained his position, as did director of college scouting Camren Williams. Patrick Stewart, who joined the front office until last season, didn’t reveal his title until a video surfaced showing he was a senior personnel consultant. The Patriots have yet to officially release a press release to the public, but we have an idea of how most of the New England front office will work.
