Matthew Judon gives an injury update after missing the season.
Matthew Judon is ready to go. The star quarterback missed the rest of the 2023 season after the Patriots’ Week 4 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Reports suggest Judon could return in December, but with New England out of contention, the 31-year-old has been ruled out. Judon asked for an update on the injury during an appearance on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s “Felger & Mazz” on Thursday.
“That’s great.” Judon said when asked how his forearm felt. “I feel fully functional, my energy and mobility are back. I’m ready to play.
“That’s great.” Judon said when asked how his forearm felt. “I feel fully functional. I feel my strength and mobility coming back. I’m ready to play. The Patriots defense played well without Judon. Veterans like Anfernie Jennings and Mack Wilson stepped in to replace Judon, while rookies like Keion White also contributed.
But we’re talking about a player who had 32 sacks in New England’s first 38 games. In order for the Patriots defense to reach its potential next season, they will need a healthy and committed Judon to wreak havoc on opposing quarterbacks.
