Amidst an eventful day for the coaching staff and front office, the New England Patriots hosted free agent safety Jaquan Amos for a workout on Wednesday, according to KPRC 2’s Aaron Wilson. Amos is listed at 6-1,200 and entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2023 with the Baltimore Ravens. The 25-year-old has been ruled out of training camp due to injury after posting two pre-season absences last August.

Senior safety Kyle Dugger and veteran tight end Jalen Mills are expected to hit unrestricted free agency, and veteran tight end Adrian Phillips is a strong candidate to fall victim to the salary cap thanks to the $3 million in extra cap space he has will receive the Patriots upon release.
