The New England Patriots will have the opportunity to draft their next franchise quarterback in April. The question is what QB should we expect with the third overall pick? USC’s Caleb Williams, UNC’s Drake Maye and LSU’s Jayden Daniels are the consensus top three QBs in this class.
Williams is expected to be the first pick off the board, so if the Patriots want to draft a signal caller, they could go with either Maye or Daniels at No. 3. On a new episode of the Next Pats podcast, ESPN’s Dan Orlovsky shared who he would want to hire if he were in charge of the Patriots’ draft and why.”Right now, in the first week of February, the first thing that comes to mind is Jayden Daniels,” Orlovsky told hosts Phil Perry and Tom E. Curran.”I actually mentioned all these games of these boys outside Carlep.
The reason I say Jaden is because I called a few games early in the 2022 season and, at least at LSU, I said, “Are we going forward with Jaden Daniels?” Inner thoughts appeared. Should we plant it? In the end, he was too hesitant and worried that he wouldn’t believe anything. There will be interest not only in his mental toughness to see where he goes and how this season plays out, but also the talent that shines when he’s comfortable.
The NFL comparison of Orlovsky and Daniels is interesting. He transferred the LSU product’s skills to C.J. Houston Texans. Compare with Stroud. C. J. Stroud is coming off a strong rookie campaign that led Houston to an unexpected playoff berth. “I watched a couple of his games three or four weeks ago because I had to tape them. I can’t say he’s the guy, but when I watched him, I thought he was just a pocket passer.” “. Last year, C.J. “It was the same when I saw Stroud,” he said.“You see what’s in his pocket and you think, ‘Oh, that’s pretty cool.
’ The throwing motion, I’m a guy who’s good at the throwing motion. It’s just a soft blow and has it. I think it means a passage for a clean pocket and throwing another type of throw. -Patriots are in the third place in QB and can be selected as the leader of Marvin Harrison Jr. the soil of the MBZ design and the generational talent in that location.
