The 2024 NFL season will be different for the Green Bay Packers. Expectations will certainly be higher for the Packers this time around. Jordan Love has shown he can do the job in the middle. He may not be Aaron Rodgers yet, but he has proven to be a quarterback with the potential to be a legitimate franchise cornerstone.
That said, the Packers are on everyone’s radar right now. For Green Bay quarterback Sean Ryan, it’s time for the rest of the NFL to pay close attention to his team (ESPN’s Rob Demowski).“Overall, I think everyone saw it. We were rocking, moving and having a good time,” guard Sean Ryan said. “Next year is going to be really exciting.” “I think everybody’s wondering what the Green Bay Packers are going to do next year.
All I can say is, “Get ready.”The Green Bay Packers are ready to take the next step in 2024.
When Rodgers and the Packers parted ways during the 2023 season, many believed the true decline of the NFC North franchise would begin. Instead, the Packers performed better in the 2023 campaign than in Rodgers’ final year in Green Bay. In 2022, the Packers finished just 8-9 and missed the playoffs. With Love as the full-time starter, the Packers went 9-8 and even embarrassed the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL playoffs before being humbled by the NFC champion San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round.
A single piece of Green Bay Packers memorabilia is displayed among fans before the NFC divisional playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers at Levy Stadium, Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, in Santa Clara, California.
Despite the loss to the Niners, the Packers have raised expectations for the future. Now that Love has experienced one season as a starter, Green Bay is expected to be a much more dangerous team in 2024. Whether or not the Packers can take the next step is an interesting thought for fans.
