The Patriots interviewed another candidate for the offensive coordinator job this week. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reported, citing sources. Fleury is in his fifth season in San Francisco and second as a head coach. According to Pelissero, he was Kyle Shanahan’s “trusted assistant.”Fleury joined the 49ers in 2019 as the defensive quality control coach.
He then spent the next two seasons as the quality control offensive line coach before accepting his current role in San Francisco. Prior to joining the 49ers, he spent three seasons with the Miami Dolphins as a football scouting analyst and director of football research.
