Emiliano Martinez, Argentina’s goalkeeper, believes Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe will win multiple Ballon d’Or titles now that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have gone from the game.
Messi has won the Ballon d’Or eight times, while Ronaldo has won it five times.
For the past 15 years, the couple has held the title of world’s top player.
Martinez also expressed his admiration for Mbappe when asked about the Ballon d’Or.
“I have a lot of admiration for him… “When Leo and Cristiano retire, he will continue to lead the way and win many Ballon d’Ors,” the Aston Villa goalkeeper predicted (via All About Argentina).
Mbappe recently finished third in the 2023 Ballon d’Or standings, behind Erling Haaland and Lionel Messi.
