Victor Osimhen is still in Nigeria, but he will return to Italy next week to begin the intense portion of his rehabilitation.
The 24-year-old is now out with a hamstring injury.
Osimhen was injured in Nigeria’s 2-2 draw with Saudi Arabia on October 13.
Due to injuries, the forward has missed the club’s last three games in a row.
Since his injury, Osimhen has remained in Nigeria, leaving Napoli waiting for his comeback.
Napoli hopes he’ll be able to play against Atalanta on November 25, a game that might be crucial in the race for the top slots in Serie A.
This season, he has six goals in eight league games for the Partenopei.
