LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Kentucky Wildcats have officially unveiled a 2025–26 roster that looks built for a deep postseason run, combining proven leadership, high-profile transfers, and a nationally acclaimed recruiting class.
Returning standouts Otega Oweh, Collin Chandler, and Brandon Garrison anchor the team with SEC battle-tested experience. Their leadership, both on and off the court, will be essential in guiding the younger players through the rigors of conference play and high-pressure tournament moments.
The transfer portal once again proved fruitful for Kentucky. Guards Denzel Aberdeen and Jaland Lowe, versatile forwards Kam Williams, Jayden Quaintance, and Mouhamed Dioubate, along with center Reece Potter, are expected to contribute immediately. Each brings a unique skill set, from perimeter shooting to interior dominance, giving head coach Mark Pope a deep and flexible rotation.
Adding to the excitement is a freshman class headlined by guard Jasper Johnson, sharpshooter Trent Noah, forward Andrija Jelavic, athletic wing Braydon Hawthorne, and 7-footer Malachi Moreno. Highly ranked and highly skilled, this group is expected to push for playing time right away and could shape the program’s future.
Coach Pope emphasized that this roster reflects his vision for sustained success: “We’ve got leaders who know what it takes to win, transfers ready to make an impact, and freshmen eager to prove themselves. That’s the balance every championship team needs.”
With the combination of depth, versatility, and elite talent, the Wildcats enter the 2025–26 season with championship aspirations — and a roster that has the tools to turn those dreams into reality. Big Blue Nation’s expectations are high, and all eyes will be on Lexington as the journey begins.
