The Duke Blue Devils are reloading in a big way for the 2025–2026 college basketball season, securing one of the nation’s top-ranked recruiting classes. With a mix of elite freshmen and experienced returners, head coach Jon Scheyer has assembled a roster poised to contend nationally.
Committed Players
Leading the class is Cameron Boozer, a dominant 6’9”, 235-pound five-star forward and the son of former NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer. Projected as a top-three pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Cameron brings elite size, skill, and basketball IQ to the Blue Devils’ frontcourt.
Joining him is his twin brother, Cayden Boozer, a 6’4”, 205-pound four-star point guard who adds leadership, playmaking, and chemistry to Duke’s backcourt. Together, the Boozer brothers bring star power and instant impact potential.
Also committed is Nikolas Khamenia, a 6’8” four-star forward out of Studio City, California. Known for his versatility and high motor, Khamenia will provide valuable depth and flexibility in the frontcourt rotation.
Returning for a second season is Isaiah Evans, a five-star guard/forward whose freshman year showed flashes of brilliance. His scoring ability and length will be a key asset as Duke transitions into this new era.
Other Potential Targets
The Blue Devils are still in pursuit of several top prospects who could round out an already elite class:
Caleb Wilson
Nate Ament
Meleek Thomas
Brayden Burries
Sebastian Wilkins – A four-star prospect who is reportedly considering reclassifying to the 2025 class, making him a potential late addition to Duke’s roster.
Roster Updates
To complement the influx of freshman talent, Duke has added Cedric Coward, a 6’6” guard transfer from Washington State. Coward brings a veteran presence and production, having averaged 17.7 points, 7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game last season.
Key returning players include:
Caleb Foster (Sophomore Guard) – Expected to take on a larger role in the backcourt.
Isaiah Evans (Sophomore Guard/Forward) – Returning star poised for a breakout.
Maliq Brown (Junior Forward) – A physical and experienced contributor.
Patrick Ngongba II (Sophomore Center) – Talented big man with upside.
Darren Harris (Sophomore Guard/Forward) – Perimeter shooter with scoring potential.
Departures
Duke will be without several key players from the 2024–2025 roster:
Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, Tyrese Proctor, and Khaman Maluach have all declared for the NBA Draft.
Sion James and Mason Gillis have exhausted their NCAA eligibility.
With a blend of top-tier recruits, veteran returners, and key transfers, Duke enters the 2025–2026 season with championship aspirations. The Blue Devils are once again setting the standard in college basketball recruiting and roster building.
