Pittsburgh Steelers President Art Rooney II expressed his support for head coach Mike Tomlin, despite the team’s struggles. Rooney acknowledged the team’s problems but doesn’t believe Tomlin is one of them.
Rooney’s comments came after the Steelers’ 28-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL wild-card playoff game. Tomlin has been the Steelers’ head coach since 2007 and has led the team to two Super Bowl wins.
While Rooney defended Tomlin, he also acknowledged the team’s need for improvement. The Steelers will look to address their issues in the offseason.
