In a shocking interview, Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger dropped a bombshell about the team’s chances next season. And we can’t believe what he said!
“I think the Steelers have a great chance of winning the Super Bowl next season,” Roethlisberger said. “But it’s not going to be because of the offense. It’s going to be because of the defense.”
Wait, what? The defense? That’s right, folks. Big Ben thinks the Steelers’ defense is going to be the key to their success next season.
“I think the defense is going to be one of the top defenses in the league,” Roethlisberger said. “They’ve got a great young core of players, and I think they’re going to make a big impact next season.”
But that’s not all, folks. Roethlisberger also had some surprising comments about the Steelers’ quarterback situation.
“I think Kenny Pickett is going to be a great quarterback,” Roethlisberger said. “But I think the Steelers need to bring in some competition for him. Maybe a veteran quarterback who can push him and make him better.”
