Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren made a bold declaration ahead of the playoff clash against the Baltimore Ravens.
In an interview with Steeler Nation lead writer Anthony G. Halkias II, Warren responded to the notion that Pittsburgh wanted to face Baltimore in the Wild Card round.
“Yes, that is my personal preference.”
The Steelers have struggled lately, riding a four-game losing streak. However, Warren’s confidence remains unwavering.
Pittsburgh’s offense has been struggling to find its way, scoring no more than 20 points in their last four games. The team’s running game has also been below their season average of 127.4 yards per game.
Warren’s dual-threat nature will be crucial in the matchup against the Ravens, who have improved in containing the run. Baltimore’s defense has allowed a league-best 80.1 rushing yards per game.
The Steelers will rely on Warren and Najee Harris to keep the ball out of the Ravens’ hands and mirror their performance against Baltimore on November 17.
The Steelers-Ravens matchup is set to be an intense playoff clash. Will Warren’s fearless declaration propel Pittsburgh to victory?
