The Kentucky men’s basketball program is bringing back one of its most anticipated preseason traditions: Pro Day. Now in its 11th year, the showcase is set for October 7 at historic Memorial Coliseum, giving NBA scouts and fans a chance to see the Wildcats up close.
While the event won’t be televised, it will be available to stream live on SEC Network+ at 5:30 p.m. ET, with longtime broadcaster Dick Gabriel and Kentucky legend Jack “Goose” Givens on the call. As usual, all 30 NBA franchises are expected to attend, highlighting the program’s national draw.

A Roster to Watch
Kentucky enters this season coming off its first Sweet 16 appearance since 2019, finishing 24–12 last year with wins over an NCAA-record-tying eight AP Top-15 opponents. Key returnees include Collin Chandler, Brandon Garrison, Trent Noah, and Otega Oweh, each of whom played a role in last season’s surge.
Head coach Mark Pope has also reloaded with one of the nation’s top transfer classes, adding:
Denzel Aberdeen (Florida) – 2025 National Champion
Mouhamed Dioubate (Alabama) – two-time Sweet 16 participant
Jaland Lowe (Pitt) – All-ACC guard
Reece Potter (Miami of Ohio) – Lexington native
Jayden Quaintance (Arizona State) – National Defensive Player of the Year finalist
Kam Williams (Tulane) – AAC All-Freshman selection
On top of that, the Wildcats welcome four highly regarded signees: Braydon Hawthorne, Andrija Jelavić, Jasper Johnson, and Malachi Moreno.
What It Means
Pro Day not only provides NBA teams a firsthand look at Kentucky’s new-look roster but also gives fans their first extended glimpse of a group that mixes experience, transfers, and youth. With momentum from last season’s tournament run and Pope’s strong first year in Lexington, expectations are high.
