The 2025-26 Duke basketball season is already buzzing with championship talk — but not everyone is ready to crown the Blue Devils just yet. Skeptics point to the inexperience, the roster overhaul, and the uncertainty of a squad without a single returning starter from last year’s Final Four run.
But here’s the thing: the Boozer twins are coming to Durham… and history says that when they show up, banners follow.
Jon Scheyer has a brand-new roster to mold after losing all five starters from a year ago. For many programs, that’s a recipe for a “rebuilding” year. For Duke? It might just be the perfect setup for a Cinderella story with a royal blue twist.
Because Cameron and Cayden Boozer don’t just play basketball — they win.
Every. Single. Time.
At Columbus High School in Florida, the twins went four-for-four on state championships. They added a Chipotle Boys National Championship as seniors, three straight Nike EYBL titles (2022–2024) with Nightrydas Elite, and back-to-back gold medals at the FIBA U16 and U17 Americas Championships. Cameron alone owns two Gatorade Boys National Player of the Year awards and is the first high school player since LeBron James to win Mr. Basketball USA twice.
That’s not a résumé. That’s a trophy museum.
Jeff Goodman summed it up perfectly:
“I don’t know if they have enough to win the whole thing… and then I remember, the Boozers only win the whole thing.”
Now, Cameron — the No. 3 overall recruit in the 2025 class — and four-star point guard Cayden are bringing that championship DNA to Duke. And if history repeats itself, the Blue Devils could be cutting down the nets in March without a single doubt.
The question isn’t whether Duke can win it all.
It’s whether anyone can stop the Boozer brothers from doing what they’ve always done.
