Mark Pope and his Kentucky Wildcats staff are in the thick of summer workouts, but that does not stop the recruiting efforts for the class of 2026.
There has been some movement starting to happen with some of the top recruits on the staff’s big board, including several players who’ve already made trips to Lexington.
We can now add another name to the list of players looking to visit Lexington in the coming months.
According to Joe Tipton of On3, 5-star guard Caleb Holt is eyeing a potential visit to Lexington. He has also scheduled visits to Alabama and Auburn, while also planning a trip to Kansas.
Holt, a 6-foot-5, 200-pound shooting guard who currently plays for Prolific Prep in Fort Lauderdale (FL), has taken one official visit prior to this scheduled trip, which was in April. During that visit, he visited Ole Miss and Oxford.
A top-five recruit overall, Holt received his offer from Kentucky back in July. He most recently hosted Mark Pope for a visit back in April. He’s ranked as high as No. 3 overall in the 2026 class by Rivals.
This recruitment is far from over, but if the staff can get Holt to Lexington for a visit, they could position themselves well for the stretch run.[wpstatistics stat=usersonline]
