Former Duke Blue Devil Justin Robinson is taking his talents to the NBA. After serving as Director of Player Development under Coach Jon Scheyer, Robinson is joining the Los Angeles Lakers in a similar role, alongside fellow Duke alum JJ Redick.
During his playing career at Duke (2016-2020), Robinson was a leader on and off the court. He started one game and earned the 2020 Tedd E. Mann award. Although he wasn’t drafted into the NBA in 2020, Robinson played overseas for five seasons, including stints with KK Mornar Bar, Podgorica, Maccabi Ra’anana, and Elitzur Netanya.
Robinson’s journey is a testament to hard work and perseverance. His new role with the Lakers marks a new chapter in his career, and he’s excited to contribute to the team’s success.
