The Kentucky Wildcats are gearing up for an exciting season with a revamped roster, and guard Jaland Lowe is confident in the team’s potential. Lowe, a transfer from Pitt, recently spoke with the media and shared his thoughts on the team’s backcourt, calling it “the best in the country.”
Lowe believes that with Jasper Johnson’s return, the team will be even more formidable. “Once we get our guy Jasper back, too, having everybody on the court at the same time and just competing every day, I feel like the pieces that we have, we can compete and win at the utmost level,” Lowe said.
The team has added some major pieces, including Jayden Quaintance, Denzel Aberdeen, and Malachi Moreno, in addition to returners like Otega Oweh. Lowe is clearly excited about the prospect of playing with this group and is looking to be part of something special.
“I wanted to win a championship, I wanted to wear Kentucky across my chest, and I wanted to play with this group of guys around me,” Lowe said. With the team’s new roster, it’s shaping up to be an exciting season for Big Blue Nation.
