The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed Kentucky guard Jaxson Robinson to an Exhibit-10 contract, giving him the opportunity to showcase his skills and potentially earn a spot on the team’s roster. Robinson, who played five collegiate seasons at four programs (Texas A&M, Arkansas, BYU, and Kentucky), has developed into a skilled wing known for his sharpshooting and versatility.
During his time at BYU, Robinson averaged 14.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, earning him the Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year award. He continued to excel at Kentucky, posting 13 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists, and was named a finalist for the Julius Erving Award. Unfortunately, a wrist injury limited his playing time and required season-ending surgery.
Robinson projects as a reliable 3-and-D wing at the NBA level, capable of providing instant offense off the bench. His shooting ability and versatility as a defender make him an ideal fit for teams seeking floor spacing and perimeter defense. With this contract, Robinson will have the chance to develop his skills further and potentially secure a full-time NBA roster spot.
