The Duke Blue Devils made a quiet but intriguing move over the weekend, adding Princeton transfer Jack Scott to their 2025–26 roster—a decision that flew under the radar for many fans.
Scott, a 6-foot-6, 210-pound guard from Pelican Island, N.J., announced his commitment on Sunday night. With his addition, Duke now has 12 players on its roster under head coach Jon Scheyer, including two seniors and two graduate transfers—pending Cedric Coward’s potential withdrawal from the NBA Draft ahead of the May 28 deadline.
Though Scott wasn’t a household name at Princeton, he brings three years of college experience. He appeared in 67 games for the Tigers, averaging 2.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in just over 10 minutes per contest.
