The Duke Blue Devils are entering the 2025–26 season with a completely revamped roster after losing all five starters from the previous year. Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel, Tyrese Proctor, and Khaman Maluach have declared for the 2025 NBA Draft, while Sion James has exhausted his college eligibility and is also expected to be drafted.
Faced with the challenge of replacing so much talent and leadership, head coach Jon Scheyer has successfully retooled the team with a blend of returning players, experienced transfers, and top-tier freshmen.
Key returners include Caleb Foster, Maliq Brown, Darren Harris, Patrick Ngongba II, and Isaiah Evans (who will explore the NBA Draft process but retains eligibility). In addition, Duke secured a major transfer in Cedric Coward, a standout guard from Washington State.
The Blue Devils also boast the No. 3 ranked recruiting class for 2025, according to 247Sports, adding even more depth and future potential to the roster.
Projected Starting Lineup for 2025–26:
Caleb Foster – Junior
Isaiah Evans – Sophomore
Cedric Coward – Senior
Cameron Boozer – Freshman
Patrick Ngongba II – Sophomore
