The Detroit Lions have re-signed cornerback Khalil Dorsey, securing his spot on the team for another season. This move comes after Dorsey’s solid performance in 2024, where he made 14 appearances, totaling 2 pass deflections and 14 combined tackles.
He also had a career-best 72-yard kick return in a blowout win against the Tennessee Titans.
Dorsey’s journey with the Lions began when he was signed to their practice squad on December 15, 2022. He then signed a reserve/future contract with the team on January 9, 2023. This re-signing is a testament to Dorsey’s growth and contribution to the team.
The Lions have been active in free agency, also signing veteran cornerback Rock Ya-Sin and re-signing TE Shane Zylstra.
