Kentucky Wildcats head coach Mark Pope gave a brief injury update on Jaxson Robinson and Amari Williams on Friday.
Regarding Robinson, who exited the first half of Wednesday’s win over Oklahoma due to a lingering wrist injury, Pope said he came out of the game “not so great.” It seems unlikely that Robinson will play on Saturday against Auburn.
As for Williams, who suffered an ankle injury in the win over Oklahoma but finished the game, Pope said he had a decent day of practice on Thursday. The team will know more about his status today.
Kentucky’s injury report will be released later today, and it’s possible that Williams will be listed as questionable or probable.
The Wildcats face a tough challenge on Saturday against the No. 1-ranked Auburn Tigers, and losing both Robinson and Williams would be a significant blow.
FanDuel currently has Auburn as 5.5-point favorites for the game.
