Pittsburgh Steelers safety Miles Killebrew recently shared his thoughts on the team’s disappointing five-game losing streak that occurred towards the end of the season.
“That was a crazy thing,” Killebrew said, reflecting on the challenging period. “I don’t think anybody saw that coming. We were playing good football, and then we just hit a wall.”
The Steelers’ losing streak was a surprising turn of events, given their strong start to the season. However, the team’s inability to win close games and their struggles on defense ultimately led to their downfall.
Killebrew acknowledged that the team’s struggles were a collective effort, stating that “everybody had a hand in it.” He also emphasized the importance of learning from the experience and using it as motivation to improve next season.
Despite the disappointing finish, Killebrew remains optimistic about the team’s future prospects. “We’ve got a good core group of guys, and we’re going to come back stronger next year,” he said.
