Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons has expressed his doubts about the Cleveland Browns’ potential to win with quarterback Kirk Cousins, who is rumored to be a target for the team in free agency.
Parsons, who was talking to a Browns fan, agreed that the team needed to improve their pass rush and mentioned that they have talented defensive players. However, when asked about Cousins, Parsons seemed unimpressed, suggesting that the quarterback may not be enough to take the Browns to the next level.
Cousins, who played for the Atlanta Falcons last season, has a history of struggling against winning teams, particularly in primetime games. While he would be an upgrade over Deshaun Watson, it’s unclear if he has what it takes to lead the Browns to Super Bowl contention.
The Browns are expected to pursue a veteran quarterback in free agency and may also draft a rookie quarterback to develop for the future.
