NFL legend Terry Bradshaw didn’t hold back when sharing his thoughts on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ decision to trade quarterback Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles. Bradshaw, a four-time Super Bowl winner, believes the Steelers made a massive mistake by giving up on Pickett.
“I would not have gotten rid of Kenny Pickett,” Bradshaw said during FOX Sports Media Day. “If you draft a guy in the first round, he’s there for a reason. If you think he’s first-round material… they just didn’t protect him, they didn’t build around him, and they unloaded him.”
Bradshaw praised Pickett’s poise, intelligence, and talent, and even took a shot at the Steelers’ offense, saying they “got nothing” besides wide receiver George Pickens.
